It shocks!
I get static shocks all the time! I've experienced this since the day I stepped on US soil. My gosh! It hurts a lot! I am afraid to touch anything :( Even when I touch David, I get shocked. It could've been the weather, my clothing, and less humidity in the air? I don't know. I just want to be shock free.
I hate to get in and out of my car and get shocked. I could feel the static electricity spark and shock me. Grrr!! I just hate it!

I had to beg for David to drive me to Jollibee in San Jose. I just wanted to get their chicken joy and Ube Coolers! So yummy!
When inside the store, I felt like I am a kid inside a candy store. I was just ordering left and right! It has been like almost three years since I had some Jollibee :)
I just can't wait but to eat my peach mango pie! Oh so yummy. David likes this mango pie. He was even telling me that it would have been great if we had vanilla ice cream.

My kind of Friday...
Hubby and I had some friends over last thursday. I had invited them to watch a comedy show here in MH. The show starts at 7:30pm so it gave me some time to cook for dinner. I went to the asian store to buy some goodies and I got home around 4:30pm, just about 3 hours before we go watch the show.
Anyway, our Thursday night out was great. We had a great time. But the best day for me this week was my Friday. David had a lunch meeting with friends. He said that I shouldn't come with him because he wants to spend time with his male friends without his wife in tow!Lol. I said fine, its okay with me. So that means I'll be alone for awhile hehehe. Anyway, I partied all by myself. I still had some leftover food from Thursday so I heated it up, fixed myself some good strawberry daiquiri and viola! I am having the time of my life!

Yahoo!
After a year of waiting whether he would get a chance of working at a company that has been known to the whole wide world and probably most of the people have been using them almost everyday. I'm really proud to say that my dear husband got a job at YAHOO! David has been working at his present job right now for 9 years. He has been so loyal and a hardworking employee. He was never late reporting to work. His principle - show up on time - be diligent - work hard and respect your co worker. I guess that's why he has been with his present company because of his principle.
A year ago, David had an interview with YAHOO for a Data Center position. We were not really expecting for a second one because it was just like a one time shot. You don't expect that they would hire you right there and then.
November from last year, David got a call from YAHOO and the people there wanted to interview him. So he did went and the initial interview went well. David thought that "oh great, another chance" And then once again, we were not getting ahead of ourselves because it might be the same as the first interview. But this time the position is different. The first interview he had was for Data Center position and the second one is for Engineer position ( I can't remember the whole description of his position though) well, that doesn't matter I guess.
Christmas came and we were kind of thinking about if he will receive another call for a second interview. But nothing came so we went on with the thought that at least he was interviewed.
I think earlier this year he got another call from YAHOO and they wanted him to come in for a follow up interview. So this made us both excited! This could lead to something else. Anyway, after the follow up interview, it went silent. David was told that they will inform him if anything comes up. Great!
Just this March, David (again) was contacted by the people who interviewed him for the engineer position asked him if he was still interested of taking the job that they are offering him. Well, what else would David say..of course YES!!Lol
That's why I have been busy lately because I have been supporting my husband with all the paperwork and weighing things up whether to take this once in a lifetime opportunity or just say "Thanks but no thanks". Both of us are very excited and at the same time worried and scared. As all of you know that YAHOO might be bought by Microsoft and things could happen and it won't be in our favor. David has taken a big chance here but I always assure him that no matter what happens that I am always here for him and will stand by him forever.
To you Bigbear, I'm so proud of you daddy! You did it hon and I know you can make it to the top.

Happy faces..
This is what we do when we are at the office. Just goofing around and taking pictures of each other. While reviewing the pictures, I thought David was flipping me! Lol. He then explained to me that he was making that peace sign but then again he said that I have such a huge head that it hid his other finger. Next month will be busy for me. David's big 50 birthday is coming up pretty soon and also next month we will be celebrating our 5th year anniversary :) I'm giving David a big birthday bash for his 50th birthday. His biggest request from me is to have a stripper! Like its going to happen! I'll strip for you honey :)
I was thinking of having a themed party for David. Maybe like a Hawaiian party or something . I'm not really sure what to decide. I only have less that a month to decide and plan for the party. If I am just too busy to prepare for a big party then we will just have karaoke party and some Crown Royal :) Bet you like that bigbear!
At Scramblez
The dogs woke me up with their loud barking this morning. That also means David is home. I always have coco and cinnamon sleep with me at night since David is at work, I don't have anyone with me except with the dogs and the house alarm. So when the dogs started barking and woke me up, I hurriedly unlocked and opened the door to let them out so I could go back to sleep. Unfortunately, before I could close the door, David asked me if I wanted to have breakfast somewhere. Since I am awake now, might as well get up and have breakfast with hubby.
This is what David had for his breakfast. Hamburger. He finished the whole thing and the rest of the stuff in his plate lol! I guess he was hungry then.
As for me, I had coffee. I don't use equal though. That's only for decoration lol. I ordered Kitchen Sink ( Its an egg omelette with bacon, sausage, cheese and other good stuff) with campfire potatoes and toasted bread. I didn't take a picture of my food because it looks very filling. I barely touch my food hahaha. That's what David always tells me that I only order my food, look at it and boxed it to go. I found my camera!!
I should say hubby found my camera :) I have forgotten that I had put the camera in one of the pockets of my carry on laptop backpack. I was getting furious because I can't find my camera and I wanted to use it. Last Friday when hubby and I were headed to the office, he brought our laptop to print some documents from work. He must have checked the pockets because he surprisingly told me that he had found my camera! I was like "darn, I could have gotten a new one. But then again I don't want my present camera lost because I have like 300 pictures there that I have not saved yet and they were all important to me. Anyway, I am and still happy that my camera is back. So I'm a happy girl now :)

Balikbayan box...saan ka na?
I sent my family one balikbayan box through forex. It has been over 45 days ago that I had sent the box. But when I called the main office here in San Jose, I was informed that there was a new memo from Forex that the 45 days waiting period will be changed to 60 days. Life...
A friend of mine from a group marketing that I have joined here in MH lost her husband a week ago. A fellow group member informed me about the devastating news. It hit me so hard that while talking to my fellow member I just can't stop myself from crying. My friend that lost her husband has one teenage child. And her child is in high school already. My friend is a hard working person and she is a tough woman. I know she can go through this phase of her life but the thought of losing the only person you could ever love for the rest of your life is painful. And I know it would be so hard for her to go on.
When after I talked to my fellow member, I went and hugged David so much because I am really lucky to have my husband with me - alive. Selfish it may seem but I am happy to know he is beside me. Just the thought of him being in pain really worries me. How much more if he is not around anymore.
Sometimes when hubby and I get into an argument, I always think about the WHAT IF's and the BUT's. You know like, if I continue this "Tampo" and I won't talk to my husband for the rest of the night and he goes to work and what if we wouldn't see each other again, those kind of things. As much as possible, if we do get into an argument that we reconcile before we go to sleep or he goes to work.
Life is so unpredictable. You just don't know what's going to happen next.

Good times are here again :)
David and I missed going to church this Sunday. I guess I was being lazy and didn't want to get up early. My monthly visitor is here that's why I feel crap most of the time. Though I worked yesterday for a couple of hours in the morning and another two hours in the evening. Ms Aunt flow didn't stop me from working. I had to watch over an elderly woman because her daughter is out of town. It was nice as the weather was picking up quite a bit. I'm glad that we've been having some nice sunny day for the last week. The old lady and I were out yesterday at the swimming pool area enjoying the sun :)
I'm quite ecstatic for the last two weeks because of some wild changes that has happened. I can't share it with you friends as it is not final. I don't want it to be jinxed!Lol. In time, I will definitely fill you in. But for now, my husband and I are just in awe. Both of us can't really believe that it has finally happened. Oh gosh, what a turn out it has been!
As per our little business, Its been a roller coaster for the last couple of years but we are hanging in there. There are times that its slow and there are times that we've been lucky. I've been working so hard with my business and hoping that my hard work will pay off soon. I am very excited though because we will be celebrating our third year anniversary with our business comes this November.
